Kalen Ockerman (MEAR ONE CBS) — CBS Verified Crew Member • Melrose Avenue Surrealist & Political Aerosol Pioneer
Kalen Ockerman (MEAR ONE) is hailed as the 'Michelangelo of Graffiti' in Los Angeles. Emerging with CBS (Can't Be Stopped) in 1986, Mear transformed the Melrose Avenue and Hollywood corridors into massive, photorealistic canvases dissecting political power, ancient philosophy, and psychedelic consciousness.
“Graffiti is the modern revolutionary art form. We took the walls back from corporate advertising to speak truth to power.”
A classic MEAR ONE masterpiece along Melrose Avenue combining photorealistic eyes, ancient Mayan geometry, futuristic aerosol machinery, and bold CBS lettering that established West Coast political aerosol as fine art.
